Good Food, Great Garlic Fries Excellent garlic fries . . . large amounts of raw garlic and good food. The star, of course, is there microbrew beer, from the stout to the IPA, and their other homebrews. [22 Feb 2002 21:08:25]

Go for the Beer All of the house-made brews are pretty darn good. Try the IPAs and the pale ales. The service isn't the greatest. It is very laid-back and can be trying if you are there for lunch or trying to catch a movie playing down the street. It's a great place to hang out and watch the 35-and-under set do their thing, which isn't easy in Marin. A lot of interesting people. The food is an afterthought. Burgers are decent; the salads are just all right. A lot of fried items, but the only one worthwhile is the garlic fries. If you like your suds and a lively, loud setting, this place is for you.
