Inconsiderate and insensitive proprietor Prior to ordering, asked proprietor about Paneer Tika Masala. He assured us that it was 100% vegetarian. We placed an order for Paneer Tika Masala and Chhole Batura. The proprietor took the order. We paid for the order but did not get a receipt.
When the order came, we were suspicious about the Tika Masala. It turned out to be Chicken Tika Masala. When we called the proprietor, he started to make excuses that it was a busy day (Sat) and a mistake was made by the "order fullfilment" department!
When I asked him to show me the receipt, we noticed that (a) he did not place an order for the Paneer Tika Masala -- instead it was for Chicken Tika Masala, and (b) he charged us the higher amount.
I felt the proprietor was inconsiderate and did not care to differentiate between vegetarian and non-vegetarian items when we were ordering, even after the discussion that we had. I would like to warn people to stay away from this establishment, especially if you value your health and/or religion. You cannot trust them with the food that they serve. Check your bill and ask for a receipt. [15 Mar 2005 02:08:42]
