Terrific! I attended a catered event for about 25 folks and the food was terrific. I went back twice. Chips, pico, tortillas, beans, chicken were all excellent.
Service was real good too and a great comfortable setting. Come as you are. [22 Sep 2003 19:39:56]

Employes and service are great Good afternoon....my name is Angelina Mendoza I am a senior, I am 65 years old. Your restaurant was the one that fascinated me the most. I am a woman that has traveled a lot and know almost every restaurant that you could think about. But your restaurant "El Balazo" is the one that blew my mind...because of the service and the delicious food.. especially when I went in there, there was a special young lady that I think should be recognized ...all I saw was her name tag that said "Heidi"...well thank you for your service and I will be going to visit your restaurant more often..thank you for your time sincerely....Mrs.Angelina Mendoza [25 Nov 2003 13:38:32]

Too Much Lime!! We tried their chicken quesadilla, bean/ cheese burrito, chicken nacho and carne asada burrito. EVERYTHING tasted like lime!! Even the salsa was overly tainted with the flavor!! My bean and cheese burrito tasted like it.. it was too much. It made the food very unappealing, we ended up trashing it and going to a different restaurant. Not only was the food terrible, but the service was even more so! We stood in a line like cattle, there is no sign showing you where to start, so we had 2 groups of people cut in front of us. The girl that helped us was so extremely rude I was practically climbing over the glass to .... well we won't get into it, but it was TERRIBLE customer service. They are extremely over-priced for the lack of flavor and lack of service. I would NOT recommend this restaurant/cattle ranch to anyone. [11 Dec 2005 17:32:43]

5 Alarm Fire. Literally!!!! We had a catered event on 3/25 and reserved a room for the group of 20+ people. For starters everything was suppose to be set up and ready at 7:00 PM. It took them 45 minutes to get things set. Then at no point in time did anyone bother to come by and check on the status of the group. Around 9:30 PM a grease fire broke out in the kitchen and brought the evening to an end. Not only did we barely have time to eat (it was a social event not a competitive eating contest) when we called to see about either getting refund or even a partial refund we were told "Sorry, you were done at 9". HUH???? Normally, I would swear by this place but they seriously sucked this time. [27 Mar 2006 14:57:49]
