Nice Italian in San Ramon We have dined there three times and have enjoyed it each time. We have had the pizza, a penne dish, ravioli, and salads.
All the food was well prepared and portions were just right. The salads were outstanding and the bread was very fresh.
Service was good and efficient. The place was clean and orderly. [01 Nov 2006 23:33:33]

Disappointing My husband and I had dinner there on a Sunday night. We were disappointed by the quality of the food.
We started with drinks, and appetizers (ordered calamari, which was okay, but tasted refried). My husband was happy with his dish, the house special ravioli. My order, the chicken Marsala, was awful. The side of mashed potatoes was cold, and my chicken, was was described on the menu as "an oven-baked breast of chicken," turned out to be sliced chicken meat which was dry and seemed recooked, with a gloppy lukewarm sauce. I only took a few bites, and didn't bother with more.
The service was very good, the restaurant was attractive, but we will not be returning. For $18 and up per entree, I expected better quality for the food.
I'm hoping we went the the restaurant on an off-day . . .

Outstanding Food, Service and Ambiance I enjoy dining at Sergio's. The location is away from heavy traffic, and yet still draws many people who are pleased with their dining experience. I have passed them on to friends and family who have enjoyed their visits, as well, and continue to do so. The ambiance is exceptional. I enjoy sitting at the bar and enjoying a glass of wine or having my dinner. The decor and soft music remind me of being in Italy, as well as the quality of food and service. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. [30 Dec 2007 23:16:28]
