GREAT PLACE! This is a great seafood restaurant. If you're looking to pay for fancy plates and atmosphere....don't go here. If you want a fun atmosphere....friendly waiters....good drinks, great fish and side dishes....make it a point to visit. You will not sorry. We went there last week for our anniversary dinner. It was recommended by a local, boy was he right! [23 Aug 2003 01:22:40]

Best scenery on the coast! The food is just fair, but who cares? The scenery and atmosphere at this place is the best in So. Cal. Looks like it would be a place where Hemmingway would hang out. Get a seat at the bar (if you can), order some appetizers (clam chower is great), and you know what I'm talking about. Nothing around the area compares. [21 May 2004 20:16:29]

Nice Harbor View. We stopped for lunch and enjoyed it very much. We were seated on the outside deck over looking the harbor. This is both a marina and a working harbor with fishing boats unloading their catch. During lunch we watch as a boat unloaded a large catch of sea urchins.
My dining companion had the clam chowder and I had the salad. Both were generous portions and very enjoyable. The entrees come with a choice of rice or potato. We enjoyed the broiled thresher shark and a fried seafood combo. There are many other choices of fresh fish available so I look forward to our next visit.
This is not a fancy property but the food and the view more than made up for the plain facilities. [01 Jun 2007 18:12:35]
