Good Greek

BEST PITA BREAD EVER!!!
I've been to Vasili's too many times to count and taken at least 5 people there, all of whom were in absolute heaven. I live in San Francisco but make pilgrimages to Santa Cruz mostly to go to Vasili's. pita bread is handmade, buttery, succulent, AMAZING; salads are very fresh; veggie dishes authentic; meat dishes delicious; LOVE the pastitsio; and GET THE MEATBALLS, you will not regret it. triple A+ for this wonderful place with gracious servers and a warm, homey atmosphere.
