The Best in Santa Maria
This restaurant is the absolute best in Santa Maria. Always consistent. I have been coming here for over 30 years and never disappointed. When we fly to visit my father we always bring Chili Verde in a thermos for my father. The best.    [20 Jun 2006 15:29:19]

Authentic Mexican Food
Casa Manana has very flavorful dishes, but be careful when they first bring them out -- they're REALLY hot (temperature-wise).

Casa Manana is a small joint, with limited seating capacity (40-ish max). It can get crowded at the door around lunch/prime time -- it's best to make reservations.

After seating you, Casa Manana starts you off with a bowl of chips, and some really simple but very tasty red sauce. It really whets your appetite.

Whatever you order makes its way to you quickly -- the grills are non-stop in the back. All drinks never stay empty for long.

Aside from the fact that it's a small area, the art and paintings on the walls are very nice.

I can never go wrong with their enchiladas or shredded beef tacos with beans and rice! It's all very good.    [08 Oct 2008 18:18:15]
