This is great food! I love their food. It's the best. I frequent the Santa Maria restaurant, as well as Santa Barbara and Oxnard ones. I hear there's one in Simi Valley, I've yet got to visit that one. I'm sure it's great as well!    [22 Nov 2003 04:20:42]

Woawoaah, great food! Ya'll have got to try this chicken. I mean, it's the best!!!!!!!!
I just tried their chili colorado dish, didn't think I would like it, but I have one word to say about it FANTASTIC! Nice and spicy!

El Pollo Norteno Has It Down to a Science
They basically serve two things (tri-tip and chicken), but in a couple of different ways: straight or combo'd together; tortas or corn or flour tortillas.

It's reallllly simple. You walk in, you look at the menu on the counter (or the one up on the board) -- you can simply just point to it, and in less than 10 minutes, you have an awesomely flavorful meal.

When I go to El Pollo Norteno, I usually kick back with a pal and have a Pacifico beer, and a half tri-tip, half chicken combo -- it has NEVER failed.

Excellent price, and laid back environment -- soccer on the television, Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom in the arcade area.
