Really nice rest spot off 405, 10 or Hwy 1
I love to stop for a cup when I am heading South from Ventura. It works well from either the 405 or Hwy 1. I often travel from Ventura to San Clemente and this quiet rest spot with coffee, and a patio with fountain is just the ticket.    [27 Oct 2002 18:17:36]

The Best Coffee Shop in Santa Monica
Finally! A cappuccino that is! No big bubbles in my over-steamed milk, mixed with over-extracted espresso. No more venti, grande or tall -- Just small or large! I finally have found a place with ITALIAN coffee drinks prepared the way they were intended. They make latte art for crying out loud! Yeah the ambiance is breath-taking, and yeah, the barista are the expected hodgepodge of losers, stoners, starving artist and idiot savants, but, despite all that, I'll be going back because they make a damn fine cup of joe.

Oh, yeah ... And several people told that Chuck Norris owns this place.
