Description
Small, cozy French crêperie just inside Saratoga. They offer appetizers (French onion soup, pate), entree crêpes (ratatouille, coq au vin, spinach and cheese), and dessert crêpes (apple, chocolate, banana-chocolate, crêpes suzette).
Some of the booths inside are separated by lattice for privacy.

Excellent Evening - Make Reservations Two of us celebrated Valentine's Day at Crepe Daniel restaurant recently. We both had the French onion soup, which is among the best around, baked with cheese over a crouton. We shared the Daniel's salad (like a cobb salad) with dressing on the side. For an entree I had scallop/shrimp crepe and my guest had avocado and bacon. Both were served hot and presented well.
I didn't really enjoy the seafood as much as I had hoped, and probably wouldn't repeat. The avocado/bacon was fine, and we took the remainder home. By this time we were in trouble for having enough room for dessert, so we chose to share a crepe suzette, which was peerless. We had an isolated table in a lattice arbor, and our waiter was excellent. Except for some small children running around exploring, it was a good an evening as could be. Many people were waiting at the entrance as we left, so the reservations were a good idea. [19 Feb 2001 20:38:41]

Don't bother What looked like it may have been a successful little crepe house has since turned into a frustrating experience. Service was dismal at best. While what appeared to be the owner, standing at the cash register staring at nothing, patrons could not get coffee or water refills, the wait for dinner in an uncrowded dining room was far too long. When it was finally served the salmon crepe or any other crepes mentioned, including the dessert crepe, had no sauce to help with the over dry faire. The salad included in the dinner was wilted and had minimal garnishments. At best the entire experience could be summed up in one word "STINGY" and "savory" had nothing to do with it! Best Soup in Town, Served at a Leisurely Pace I have been eating at Crepe Danielle for the past 17 years. Even after 5 trips to Paris, their French Onion Soup is the best that I have ever tasted! Among my favorites are the Salad Danielle (entree sized salad), The Crepe Normandy (shrimp and scallops in a creme sauce), the crepe Saratoga (bacon, avocado and cheese) and the Mandarin Shrimp Crepe (shrimp and snowpeas - a bit dry, but light). If you save room for dessert, they have a chocolate crepe with chocolate sauce, creme anglaise, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whip cream. I don't remember what it is called and it is not on the regular menu, but if you ask, they will make it for you. This is a great dessert to share! One warning: do not come here for a quick meal! I have seen the wait staff come and go over the years and the service has never been quick. Call ahead and reserve a table sectioned off by lattice and you can spend a quiet, romantic, leisurely dinner for not a lot of money. [25 Sep 2003 14:06:12]

Iv'e been dining here since I was a child... The food is great (if you dont get the seafood) try the ccrepe saratoga (bacon, avocado, mushrooms, cheese) the house dressig is also delicious. ONLY BAD THING.... Service. The service isn't that great...but I feel the more you go, the better you get treated, so be nice smile to the little owner man...and next time he'll remember... Yummy I have enjoyed eating in the restaurant and eating the food to go. Their french onion soup is one of the best. Save room for desert. I recommend their chocalate, banana and almond crepe. [21 Oct 2005 21:55:12]
