Eggs 'N' Things all it's cracked up to be and more If you want a great breakfast or lunch in a 'hometown' kind of place, Eggs 'N' Things is the restaurant for you! The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the portions are ample. Try their delicious homemade soups -- my personal favorite is the Chicken Delight. But if you want breakfast, the choices are almost limitless. If I could change anything about the restaurant, I would have them remain open for dinner so I could eat there more often. Great Food and Great Service It's nice to see there are still great Breakfast places still around. The food was very good and the team work of the staff was exceptional! [02 Jul 2007 08:33:19]

Simi Location Is Great Disappointment I've been to the Eggs N Things in Ventura and Camarillo and never had anything but great service and amazing food; this one brings shame to the chain.
Not only was my waitress cold and uninterested in her job, but she was less interested in my table. Her main priority was getting me out! She never refilled my drink, never checked on me, and then when she dropped by to give me the check, she didn't offer (or give me a minute to ask for) a to-go box, and there was plenty of food left over, as it was awful! The food was worse than the service. I ordered the Cajun sausage and eggs special. The eggs were supposed to be over easy and were runnier than most sunny-side up orders I've seen. The sausage was over cooked and salty! The gravy was lukewarm and didn't live up to the savory recipes you're used to at Eggs N Things. And who in the world charges $2.45 for eight ounces of milk for a two-year-old? How do they ring that up with a straight face?
I will make sure that I avoid this location at all costs and I suggest that others follow my lead. I would honestly rather drive over the grade to camarillo before i'd ever go back to this place! [07 Mar 2008 17:40:12]
