Best of the Street
Our family has been going here weekly for about five years, and the food is always delicious. The place itself is nothing fancy, but the waitresses are the best, and the margaritas and wonderful. Our favorites are Lupita's Plate, and Nopales. All of the soups are wonderful but my favorites are the Albondigas and Caldo de pollo. Everything is very reasonably priced. A Texan's Review of Don Chuy's
A clean, peaceful, for real Mexican restaurant that made me feel at home when I was temporarily in training in San Diego. My comfort food (caldo de res) was awesome and made with fresh celery (I was impressed) and an array of vegetables. If I ever get back to California, I'll head for Solana Beach.
