Best Mexican Dining in Solana Beach Looking for a fun-filled Mexican dining experience? Look no further, Don Chuy is THE spot. The cuisine is mouth-watering, and all dishes hand prepared with only the freshest ingredients. The chicken chimichangas are our all-time favorite. Order a pitcher of margaritas, and you'll enjoy the best dining experience for two, and all for under $30.00 (spirits and two meals.) Service staff wait on you hand and foot, and are always happy to accommodate extra requests, such as freshly made salsa fresca, etc. In all of Solana Beach, Don Chuy's offers the best authentic, Mexican dining experience for your dollar. No obnoxious mariachis to drown out your intimate conversation, just nice quiet music in a pleasantly lit atmosphere. Did I mention clean and friendly? Why go anywhere else? Enjoy Don Chuy’s as we do- time and time again.

Best of the Street Our family has been going here weekly for about five years, and the food is always delicious. The place itself is nothing fancy, but the waitresses are the best, and the margaritas and wonderful. Our favorites are Lupita's Plate, and Nopales. All of the soups are wonderful but my favorites are the Albondigas and Caldo de pollo. Everything is very reasonably priced. Our dinner for four is typically between $25-$30. [06 Dec 2003 01:17:04]

A Texan's Review of Don Chuy's A clean, peaceful, for real Mexican restaurant that made me feel at home when I was temporarily in training in San Diego. My comfort food (caldo de res) was awesome and made with fresh celery (I was impressed) and an array of vegetables. If I ever get back to California, I'll head for Solana Beach. I wish they could fax their food to me... [09 Nov 2006 21:44:11]
