crumbs on all the tables. old bar-b-q sauce stuck on salt shakers. not a very clean restaurant. caesar salad extremely soggy. no light in woman's restrooms so had to use men's restrooms. Extremely filthy & stinky restrooms.

It doesn't get much worse
I always used to drive by this place dying to give it a try but putting it off for another day. Finally, I stopped in for a bite one afternoon. Boy was I disappointed. I ordered ribs (I forget if they were beef or pork) and fries. The fries were downright disgusting and way too big, like someone sliced a potato in half, deep fried the outside but left the inside raw, slapped them on a plate, and called them french fries. The ribs tasted very bad and had the consistency of meat boiled in water as rather than grilled as meat should be. Towards the end of the meal I couldn't stand it anymore and just started washing it down with my drink the minute it hit my mouth. At least the lady behind the bar was nice, and the place had a really nice feel and decor to it. Guess it's a nice place if you want to play pool or hang out at the bar or something. But if food is what you're after, you'll be extremely disappointed and I would recommend trying one of the several other BBQ joints around town instead.    [25 Feb 2005 20:26:25]
