Vastly Overrated
Really pretentious place. Service was slow, with their minds somewhere else. Menu tries to impress by mixing an incredible number on ingredients in one dish. Why put mustard, tequila, lime and feta on the same piece of lamb. And, free range chicken breast stuffed with fresh spinach, Feta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and pecans, finished with a fire-roasted picante pepper coulis is as bad as it sounds. And don't get me started on the Bowie knife size steak knives. This place is way past its prime.    [12 Oct 2002 20:16:50]

wow
My wife and I had a wonderful time at this little mountain gem. The menu boasted a wide variety of items. I wish I would have found this place sooner so as to eat there again. My wife had the halibut topped with some kind of artichoke bread crumbs and served with tomato sauce confit of olives and other good stuff. I had the pleasure of having a grilled elk with a cranberry sauce. The creme brulee for dessert was simple and a refreshing end to one of the best meals my wife and I had on our entire vacation.    [27 Oct 2002 01:52:01]
