I love the food at Adalberto's! It is so much better than any other Mexican restaurant. I love the ambiance as well. Their food just has so much more flavor than other places. And it's fast! I have to wait longer at Taco Bell and they are only using pre-made ingredients. I totally recommend this restaurant!!    [11 Mar 2004 18:49:50]

Delicious Food

Good Food. Bad Service
I love the food and prices, but the drive-through service is AWFUL.

The portions are HUGE, especially the super nachos, they can feed a family. The horchata drink is also one of the best I've tasted, not too sweet, just perfect.    [03 May 2007 18:45:18]

Best Mexican Take-Out in Northern California
I grew up in San Diego and have very discriminating tastes when it comes to Mexican food. The Mexican food in Nor-Cal, and the Bay area in particular, leaves a lot to be desired. This is not the case when it comes to Adalberto's in Stockton. I feel like I'm back in S.D. when I bite into one of their fresh carne asada burritos (which they do not fill with rice and beans -- cheap fillers -- like most Nor-Cal Mex places do!).
