Don't Bother
This is a place to go if you have no taste for Italian food, good service or empathy for your wallet. The owner/head WAITer will let you wait while he kisses a#* with people more important that you. Then if your waiter does decide to GRACE your table, don't expect anything more than a pittence of acknowlegement of his tip. Loooved it!
Don't know what's not to like. The chop, chop salad, the great wine rec., the tapas bar, the black & white pasta special, the outdoor atmosphere. I'd eat here everyday if I could!

Of all the meals I've had in Los Angeles. This has to be THE WORST. Lousy food, understaffed, rude waiters, big bill. I swear the staff put on fake italian accents. No real Italian would pass off that food and service as authentic. Great!
Ate last night with a friend- REALLY enjoyed ourselves- read the comments about poor service and have to wonder what was up for them. Food - she had wild salmon *special* & loved it - I ordered off the menu and had a vegetarian (not vegan) ravioli which was excellent. Had a nice bottle of red, split a pre-entree salad and topped the whole nine yards off with a lemon tart.... all this on the patio area between the main dining room and the bar. SERVICE WAS SUPERB- my ONLY complaint is their parking valet contractor needs MORE folks to field the cars coming & going.    [02 Jun 2007 20:54:31]
