A Nice Find in Sun Valley
Mandarin Terrace is an unexpectedly good Oriental restaurant in Sun Valley. The owners are always glad to see us and remember us from visit to visit. The food is quite good. White linen table cloths and attentive service provide a slightly elegant but unfussy atmosphere. Prices are quite reasonable. Dishes are prepared quickly and take-out is available. Ordinary outside, but surprisingly good inside.
The outside looks like an ordinary restaurant, but the food is surprisingly good. The lunch menu offers more than a dozen choices and the prices are really hard to beat. Overall, it is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Sun Valley, unless you want to go to San Gabriel Valley which is about 30 miles away. [27 Apr 2006 22:27:23]

The orange chicken, sesame chicken and honey walnut shrimp at Mandarin Terrace are simply yummy, as well as 2 different kinds of wonton. They have very attentive staff and good food in general. Some things are made with a bit too much garlic, so ask them to cut back a bit if you're not a garlic fanatic. They also have GREAT lunch deals that include a ton of food, from just 5-7 dollars.
