Indian vegetarian food. Very small, unpretentious eating area. An "eat and get out" atmosphere. Intended (as the name suggests) for "to go" orders. Two doors over is the sit down place.

Nutritious, Fresh, Homely, Vegetarian Indian Food
Cool, vegetarian Indian food and snacks in the San Francisco Bay Area. Serves as a staple for daily lunch and dinner for Silicon Valley Indian engineers and their families and now increasingly to everyone else. Best Food in the Entire US
This is a mom and pop fast food which makes the healthiest and tastiest food ever. They don't make things oily or greasy. In fact its very healthy, tasty and very low priced. Try the muli paratta and spinach paratta. Do I miss this place? Tried looking for similar places in NJ after our move, but not been lucky. Lousy Service, very dirty surrounding
The fat slob at the counter was acting as if he was doing a favor by serving people. I was totally put off by the dirt and dust in this place so much so that I immediately walked out without ordering anything.
I will never recommend this place to anybody and will certainly not go back there. [28 Aug 2005 00:30:30]

The Place Is Great!
I think this place is great. The food is outstanding (a 4 out of 5. The people, including the guy behind the counter, are really nice, and they always ask how I am, but that might just be because we are regular customers. I really do recommend their chapathi, which is the best I have ever tasted. Also, I love what they did to the place; they painted it and added new decor . . . it looks great!
Overall, I would give this place a 4.75 out of 5, because it is outstanding. I'm not a North Indian, so some of the food is not of my preference. However, South Indians can enjoy this place as well! [19 Apr 2008 19:34:45]
