Bland Food
I've been to the Faultline several times. Usually against my will.

The menu is full of interesting sounding items. Sadly the cooks here don't understand that cooking takes something more than just throwing together trendy ingredients.

Most recently I had the lunch special: Mahi Mahi grilled, covered in salsa with potatoes and vegetables. Everything was thoroughly bland, with the exception of the charred crust of the fish, which tasted like char. Half the plate was dedicated to vegetables (mostly steamed carrots) devoid of seasoning and taste. This "feast" cost $16.95, not a cheap lunch.

The only good thing I can say about Flatline (er, Faultline) is that they have a good stout. Its smooth, reminiscent of Guinness. At least that's supposed to be bland!    [16 Mar 2000 17:33:09]

Great Place
I've been to the Faultline on multiple occasions... in fact, I loved the food and the atmosphere so much that I've decided to hold my wedding reception there! We're even having the ceremony out back on the patio, overlooking Oakmead Lakes.
They offer great food, a comfortable but upscale mood, excellent prices (relative to the rest of the wedding market), and a very helpful event coordinator. Who knew?!    [06 Jul 2001 18:39:34]
