Description
Hobee's customers enjoy fast and friendly service in a casual, homey atmosphere and is conveniently open for breakfast and lunch.
Hobee's Sunnyvale, formerly Baker's Square, is actually the second Hobee's to open in the South Bay burg. Fans from the 1970s may recall a tiny Hobee's on El Camino Real off Mary. That restaurant went the way of disco and lava lamps when the Palo Alto site became available.

Hobbee's is good place for lunch, and a great place for breakfast. Their blueberry coffee cake is their signature dish, but their sandwiches, omelettes, and other dishes are prepared well with fresh ingredients. Meatless and vegan preparations are also available for many of the dishes. [13 Sep 1999 14:17:09]

Hobee's is one of the top places to go for a Silicon Valley power lunch. Great for breakfast with wonderful omelettes and of course that delicious blueberry coffee cake. Also, don't miss the energy blends, a delicious mix of fruit and yogurt. [27 Sep 1999 13:37:43]

Hobee's ROCKS! "Real good karma" - Hobees always seems friendly and inviting relative to other hurried food troughs in the area. Their specialties IMHO are their breakfasts - the house tea, the house coffee cake and lots of creative California Cuisine egg dishes. I always select a breakfast item (which are served all day) when I go for lunch or dinner. [12 Dec 2003 18:10:59]

Not for the My husband and I ate here for lunch on a busy Sunday afternoon. The palce was really hopping, as expected for a Sunday. The food is good, though it's more for the "health nut" than a "meat and potato" type. My husband had a hard time finding something to eat there. The salad bar is filled with fresh fruit and veggies and the sandwiches are a decent size. Love the spinach dill dressing. The staff was OK...waiter was brisk but not unfriendly. I did notice that they had a hard time turning over tables and seating people on a timely manner, so there's always a line, though there are empty tables! [09 Aug 2005 18:42:03]
