Poor Chain Store
I went with 8 other Chinese friends to P.F. Chang's several weeks after its opening, and each person ordered a dish. Some dishes arrived late. I'm vegetarian and we ordered two or three vegan dishes. I didn't enjoy any of the vegan dishes. The broccoli is too salty and not fresh. The leafy vegetable was overcooked and tasted odd. None of my friends liked the vegan dishes. Some other dishes may taste OK, but I definitely suggest vegetarians to stay away from it. Even McDonald's will serve better vegetarian food than here.

Over-rated, Much Better Alternatives
Anyone who likes this restaurant must be thinking of the decor. Not only is the food non-traditional, but the chefs are not even Chinese. The food is not something worth returning to.    [07 Jul 2004 22:09:05]

Very Late Service
I have been there a few times. The food is okay, not that great to be talked about. The wait time is horrible. You might get away without waiting if you make a reservation, but you don't have the luxury of not waiting when you finally arrive at your table. We usually have to wait at least 20 minutes to get our food. The most time I waited was during my last trip there - I waited for almost an hour, got fed up drinking water and then called the guy over there and asked if I could just pay for the appetizers and leave. He then apologized and got the food on my table in 5 mins. I wish they could do that before the customer even brings it up. That was the last time I went to PF Changs and I am not going there again.    [26 Aug 2005 12:28:49]

I Had a Good Time
I have been here once, not something I usually try -- however one Sunday eve, my BF and I were driving around SV and happened upon this P.F. Chang's. It was a nice atmosphere, very busy, and a very long wait. We opted to sit at the bar, so we would not have to wait a long time in a line up. We were seated immediately, which was nice. We have been to other P.F.'s and the food quality was very similar to others . . . ordered, and the experience was as expected . . . nothing surprising here at all.
