Go back in time
I have loved this restaurant since we moved to Encino. We pretty much tried all the Chinese places on Ventura Boulevard, but did not find any to compare to the westside.

The ambiance puts you back in the time when red naugahyde and risque sounding drinks like "The Headhunter" was the norm rather than the swanky Chinese "continental" eateries nowadays.    [26 Dec 2003 20:36:20]

Lots of Hair in Your Food
I found several black hairs in my food, and when I reported it, they just offered to give me more. They told me that they didn't have nay precautions for this. Yuck!    [14 Jan 2008 16:17:18]
