Paul's Cafe - Tarzana Wonderful food, service and elegant, first class ambiance, two beautiful front rooms, a full bar, a wonderful wine list, a lovely back room opening out onto the patio/garden room, which can also be used for private parties, and a seemingly endless brick floored, enclosed patio filled with plants and flowers. The inside is romance itself- with two fireplaces, and candles glowing everwhere. [13 Feb 2001 23:08:44]

Great Food Paul is the best, he has the best food and the best personality in town. A must go to place. You will never walk away without a happy face. [25 Oct 2001 23:24:20]

Must Do Again Service was great!! We ordered Coconut Shrimp with Avocado, Mango and Pineapple on a Bed of Couscous and a wonderfully spicy Ahi Tuna Salad. Both were exceptional! For dessert, the Lemon Napoleon was incredible. (We were even told how to eat it by a nice server -- not our regular waiter.) Alas, we were sadly disappointed in the patio ambiance -- the plants and flowers were dead. Not very refreshing in hot, summer Valley temperatures. [24 Jul 2002 15:58:55]

Hard to believe, but true Had a lunch party for 24 persons with full choice of menu. Everything came out like it was low volume preparation. Excellent food and service even with a large group. A first. [31 Jan 2003 13:16:11]
