What? I Can't Hear You! Captain's Cabin isn't the best place in town for a steak or seafood, but it is quiet. The newer places in town don't seem to think that diners want to carry on a conversation without having to shout over the echo off of the bare walls and floors. Captain's Cabin has carpet, window coverings and tablecloths that all help absorb excess racket. It's decor is elegant and a bit old fashioned, but most of all the food is reliable and fair priced. Memories of New England Far and away the best seafood restaurant in the area. Prime rib is extraordinary as is the filet mignon. But what is best is the ambience. Shades of Nantucket, Mystic, Martha's Vineyard. [29 May 2006 18:42:24]

Delicious Fine Dining What a surprise to find this place! I didn't know Temecula had much fine dining with class. The Captain's Cabin exceeded all of our expectations. The service was excellent, the food was worth the money, and the experience is worth doing again. It was different from Baily's or the Wineries. The servers were friendly and genuine, which made all the difference. It was quiet and not overwhelming like so many of these chain restaurants. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves (and the pub is really cool looking). [01 May 2007 19:00:57]
