A out of towners opinon. I enjoyed the enviroment. It was very upbeat.
The dish I had was shrimp feata, which I enjoyed very much. I thought is was filled with just enough shrimp and just enough spices. The tortillas tasted like they were made just for me. If there were a Chuy's where I live now ,which is Peoria, IL, . I would visit very often. [09 Dec 2003 11:30:51]

better pollo We live in Mission Viejo and when we come out to Murrieta to visit family, we always have lunch at Chuys. The chicken is better than other places. The cole slaw is great and the sevice is fast. They also make the best peppered salsa that I have ever had. Very casual sports bar environment, great for kids. I would love to see Chuys open up in So. OC. [01 Feb 2005 14:05:35]

If you ever want to feel as if you're eating under a bridge in East L.A., then by all means, visit Chuys. We were knee deep in children that we less than fit to be in public, ordered at a counter as if we were at McDonalds, sat at a table that was purposely covered in graffiti, (so were the walls, ceiling, etc).
Each table had it's own paper towel roll in lieu of napkins. The food was edible, but nothing beyond what you can make in your kitchen at home. In whole, the experience seem to me like a picnic on the wrong side of the tracks. [14 Mar 2006 17:35:30]
