The Most Amazing Coffee This has been my favorite coffee place for years. Its great, they roast their own coffee and its all delicious! When in Thousand Oaks, don't get coffee anywhere else but here, at Bent On Coffee! OK? Alright. [30 Sep 2002 19:42:40]

Great Coffee I just love the relaxed atmosphere, the quaint gift items, and the owner's accent. They just make you feel at home, you can either get your coffee to go, or you can enjoy a smooz, reading the paper, and even buying a present, with gift-wrap, and be on the way. A great place to return to. [08 Dec 2003 12:34:33]

Local Secret that EVERYONE Should Know About Bent's is THE place that Thousand Oaks locals go when they want great fresh coffee or a fine selection of wine. The coffee is roasted at the shop every couple of days, and Bent hand picks the wines he keeps on stock. Stop by mid-morning and you have a good chance of catching the roaster in action or Bent tasting with the wine distributors. There are also 6 daily choices of brewed coffee or great espresso drinks at the bar and even great tea alternatives. [07 Nov 2005 09:51:01]

knowlegable staff Bent tastes every wine he sells, and his staff is very knowlegable too. Aaron can answer all of your wine questions, and the girls are great - if they don't have an answer - they'll get it for you - even if it means ringing Aaron or Bent at home. There is not a better place to buy coffee beans or wine in the Conejo, and probably not in the San Fernando Valley either. Service can be a bit slow if you go at peak time because the place is small and only a few people fit behind the counter, or in line, but don't let that discourage you. The knowledgeable staff more than makes up for the ocassional wait. Neither cute nor cozy, Bent's simple, casual atmosphere consists of a coffee raoster (great aromas) and a couple walls of wine (could anything be more beautiful?). This is a place for people who truly understand and appreciate good coffee and good wine. It's a pity he quit carrying beer but... can't have it all. [10 Jan 2006 17:31:19]
Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: coffee & wine (is this a trick question?) - buy a pound or two of the coffee of the week!
