Lousy food I recently dined at HH in Thousand Oaks and had one of the worst meals ever. First, the Caesar salad lacked any dressing so I used a Blue Cheese that my wife had ordered on the side and it was nothing more than sour milk. I ordered standard cut prime rib and a baked potato with the works. The potato was a combination of one end hard as a rock and the rest as rubbery as a dead duck and a glob of sour cream that was awful. The prime rib was thin an reheated at least once. Also, the cost for a bottle of Rosemont Shiraz was $27!!.
I have lived in 1000 Oaks for over 45 years and this was not what was expected of The Hungry Hunter!!
Wake these people up. Many new restaurants are "hungry" to start business here! [12 Dec 2005 23:34:32]
