New Owner has Ruined this Restaurant.
The Truckee Trattoria was a great restaurant for over 13 years. Sadly Liz and Ken Brown sold the restaurant in September. The new owner doesn't have a clue on how to run a restaurant. It should begin with a chef who is certified as a culinary expert and is proud to present his culinary artwork. The new owner (Jean-Luc) doesn't have this training.    [03 Feb 2004 20:30:01]

Excellent seafood, the Clam/Seafood Chowder was incredible. Very tasty. The presentation, service and overall ambience really made the meal. The owner/chef was very friendly and was focused on providing a great dining experience.

This Place SUCKS!
The food is horrid and the variety is not sensational. I ordered seafood pasta and got something that looks like worms covered in paprika. I also got fettucine alfredo but it was more like chicken noodle soup. DONT EAT HERE!!!!    [24 Feb 2006 19:50:10]
