Lousy Service, Rude Staff, Poor Customer Servic Our fmily of four went to have pzza at Me n Ed's in Tulare and had a horrible experience there. Restaurant was busy, there were four tables dirty but no one had time to clean them up, staff were busy chatting in the corner. Order taker was inexperienced, had a hard time understanding simple English. Upon receiving our pizzas, one was not right, we didn't want to wait for another 1/2 so we decided to eat wrong pizza, mentioned to two of the staff, did not even feel bad or say sorry. I tried to contact manager but he was too busy. Bottom line, they lost our business. We will go somewhere else where they treat their customers better. I don't recommend Tulare Ne-n-Ed's to anyone. Had a lunch delivery set for noon and they didn't show up until 12:30. We had ordered at 11:10 and they quoted 45 minutes. The problem was that we only have a 30 minute lunch. When they finally delivered they said that they had a driver call in sick that day and so only one delivery person. Very unprofessional. Pizza was all dried up when we got it. Man on the phone taking orders was very very rude and didn't want to satisfy me in anyway. [10 Mar 2005 09:27:13]

Unprofessional and rude employees We walked in. The place is empty except for another family near by. Every table is dirty. I asked for a wet towel to clean ours. I got a cold response. But it got cleaned. After 40 min. I asked if our pizza was close to being ready. Again the response was "Nope it's not". The other family had been there 45 min. and the father went up and asked "How long does one pizza take to cook?" He was told "Don't give me no tone" I was apalled by the whole scenario. Not one person came to apologize or acknowledge the fact that we waited almost an hour for our food. We were planning to go to the movies right after and had to cancel. Any other business would have the courtesy to offer some kind of an apology during the wait. There is no excuse for lack of respect and unprofessionalism. [24 Jun 2005 00:45:26]

Filthy Restaurant! My family and I have always loved Me-n-Ed's pizza. But Sunday's experience at the Tulare Pizzeria has left us thinking that this is a poorly run restaurant. Everything was dirty -- even the front door! The floor in the dining room was dirty and covered with trash; the order counter was dirty; the restrooms were filthy! Thinking that perhaps they'd had an exceptionally busy day and were short-staffed, we went ahead and ordered. But as we watched, we determined that the staff was adequate -- just inefficient (and probably poorly trained). Even though there were only two other tables occupied, it took about 40 minutes to get our pizza. When I went up to ask why, I saw the "manager" and a couple of crewmembers sitting, drinking sodas and enjoying themselves while one person took orders and one person wandered through the dining room with a filthy trash can on wheels scooping the trash off the tables (some of it actually went into the trash receptacle). All in all, it was not a pleasant experience; and we will get our pizza from another restaurant in the future. [02 Aug 2005 14:31:29]

Get Real People I was there on 6/16/06 it was clean found entire staff to be friendly
Pizza was made on time, consider just how many people they try to serve. I did however have a problem which I am awaiting a call from their corporate office to resolve and if I am not called back by early next week perhaps you may find my story interesting reading. [17 Jun 2006 10:13:42]

Shorter Hours, New Prices and Bad Service This may apply to all the Me-N-Ed's, but this occurred in Tulare. I went in on February 5 and was advised the prices had been raised, the hours were shorter and they charge for their ranch and peppers now, all because the minimum wage went from $7.50 to $8. Is the company really doing this badly? The service sucked, as well. Employees were talking amongst themselves and their friends. On top of it all, the pizza didn't taste as good as usual. What's going on? [07 Feb 2008 00:25:35]

Delivery I called in for a delivery order last week and they came out and gave me my order, but on June 14, 2008, I called one in and they said we couldn't deliver to me. I feel that they are discrimating against me. I ordered pizza there a lot before this started to happen. It's because I live on K Street in Tulare. [14 Jun 2008 16:44:48]

Facts Are Facts, That IS Real! The staff was rude . . . a big party place with friends, but customers are ignored. We ordered a pizza and paid with cash. The young man took our bills, gave us change, and then promptly went back to the pizza-making station to grab two big handfuls of shredded cheese and spread it over another pizza he was making. Gross! The manager was told and his response . . . a shrug of his shoulders and a smirk. We canceled our order and got a refund. [18 Jun 2008 20:10:43]

Wondering Wy
Bad Word of Mouth = Bad Advertising! Once again my family visited Me-N-Ed's in Tulare, hoping for a better outcome. Unfortunately, we didn't get one. The dissatisfaction with service at this location is not limited to just one complaint, and echoes the complaints of previous reviews. It seems that these concerns just keep falling on the ears of people in management who don't know how to lead themselves, let alone anyone else. With the economy the way it is (and pizza is not cheap), one would think that the SERVICE INDUSTRY would be insuring their jobs by remembering that the customer is always right! And from the list of all the other poor reviews about this location, that must be true. Hopefully someone with the authority and leadership skills will get these messages and finally do something about the Tulare Me-N-Ed's lack of service and poor management. If not, the pretty new restaurant might as well close up shop. I will not be a return patron hoping for a better experience again. [18 Jul 2008 18:00:58]
