Buffalo Burgers
Forget the regular burgers, get the good stuff. Real Buffalo. The beer is cheap, the atmosphere is chill and the musicians are usually pretty decent. Watch for the guy who looks like Elvis/Johnny Cash.

Yeah, the service isn't so prompt, but I love the fact that they aren't breathing down your neck trying to get you to eat fast and leave. Chill, sit for a few hours, enjoy a beer or two and ponder the issue of why there aren't more places like the Buffalo Inn.    [16 Dec 2006 14:17:23]

Great Atmosphere
Man, let me tell you that this restaurant/patio/bar is everything to anybody who likes to eat, chat or just hang out enjoying the fire pit in the middle of the patio and listening to some live music on the weekends. If you are looking for a first date atmosphere without the tightness that comes with it, then Buffalo Inn is the spot. The food is good, the beer is inexpensive ($6.00 for a tall glass pitcher) and the people are awesome.    [05 Dec 2006 11:28:24]

A Long History
I've been going to the Buff since about '78, and it's like any place -- you're going to experience the good and bad, especially when you've been going there that long. It's only as good as the employees who work there and the food. All in all, it hasn't changed much in either dept.

As far as the food, hey, it's not a 5-star restaurant, but the food is good. Go there for a 'Cheeseburger in Paradise.' I've always enjoyed the chips and salsa, sandwiches and burgers. There is a large assortment of domestic and imported beers to choose from, and usually there's a promotion going for one of them, which gives you an added excuse to try it.

I also became engaged there 20 years ago, which adds to my history with the place. I like it.    [01 Dec 2006 14:19:33]

The soloist is incredible!!
I'd heard about the entertainment at the Buffalo Inn for a while, but I never went. Finally I did, and WOW! I was told that it was going to be a duo, but it was a singer/guitarist (I think his name was Tim or Tom Powers). He was awesome!!! He played all of the requests my husband and I made (and we have very diverse taste in music) and was hilarious to boot!

The service was good and the Buffalo burger was a bit 'gamey.' I think I saw the owner there as well (I think his name is Rick). He appeared drunk and was dressed sloppily! Someone should tell him to dress a little better, as it reflects negatively on his establishment. (Sorry if Rick isn't the owner and just some homeless guy!)

The waitress was pleasant and relaxed, although the food was very slow getting to our table (didn't matter -- we had a great time with some Pale Ale and the guitar player!)    [11 Jan 2006 16:11:39]

It's all about the Chili
Buffalo Inn is all right in appearance and atmosphere, and the food is pretty decent, but it's the chili that makes the world go round. I can't find better chili anywhere else in the world. It just rocks!    [31 Aug 2005 20:43:51]

The Best Restaurant In the I.E.
The Buffalo Inn is the most unique restaurant I have ever visited the ambiance is amazing. It's so relaxing to sit outside on their patio and listen to the live entertainment, or sit upstairs and pretend you're in a log cabin, or sit at the bar and get in on all the action. The food is great, the service is great, the entertainment is great, what more could you ask for?    [06 Aug 2005 20:48:42]

If you have a bad feeling
I like this place. The food's decent and the vibe is great. But if you get there and it's crowded and nobody seems like they're taking care of guests (which has happened to me twice now), run away -- don't walk.    [29 Jun 2005 00:58:08]

Management's asleep at the switch
I enjoy sitting in the patio listening to the duo sing their songs -- even if they're the same songs over and over. But it's enjoyable.

However, every time I go there I cringe because it has SO MUCH neglected potential. I've given up on the burgers. Obvious Costco frozen patties. C'mon -- make a juicy burger and people with flock there. Upgrade all the food for that matter and -- okay -- raise the prices if you have to.
This place has history, with hidden charm and character that is being neglected.    [21 May 2005 21:24:57]
