Good food BAD Service
The food is really good. But the service is absolutly AWFUL!!! They are changing staff like underwear. The waitresses don't seem very friendly. And some of them have been there since the begining. I love their food, but I'd rather go to the location downtown Vacaville.    [13 Mar 2003 18:17:18]

The food is ok but could be more enjoyable if the staff were more friendly. I am tired of going to Murillos which serves the best Daiquiries only to have RUDE or UNATTENTIVE service from the staff. I love this place
Great food and I don't know who's serving the other 2 people, but go to Sharon and she's the best. I've been going to this place for about 9 years now and have loved it from the begining. Ya, some of the staff can be rude, but hang in there and they will be replaced. They have the BEST enchilada sauce and great chips and salsa. You should be so lucky!!
I think that Murillos serves the very best food. You can not beat the price, atmosphere or service. We had to move out of the area and wish that we could be so lucky as to find another quality place to eat real Mexican food in an environment that we are that comfortable in! GREAT PLACE!!
My family loves this place - I have had some slow service as people have mentioned above, but never rude staff. Their food is great and their prices are very reasonable. Love the food
Murillo's is one of my favorite restaurants. I have been going there since i was a little girl. The service can be pretty bad sometimes when you get the wrong waitress, but the food is worth it. I crave the chips and hot sauce all the time.    [17 Mar 2004 19:20:50]

Best Avocado Tostada in the West
As of today there is still no other place that you can find a better taste on a tostada than the ones at Murillos Mexican Restaurant. If you're in the area you must stop and enjoy one of those avocado tostadas. Great taste.    [07 Jan 2007 17:37:29]

Bad Food, Bad Service
I have been to many Mexican restaurants throughout the west, but Murillo's probably rates a 4 out 10. The chips and salsa were first-rate, but that's where it ended. I would call the food American Mexican. It's the only Mexican place I've ever eaten at where you have to pay extra to get cheese on your refried beans, and not just 50 cents . . . $2.00. So I wait a few years -- I never give up on a restaurant, so I try the same thing again, only this time I want a side of avocado sliced, and I was told they don't serve sides of avocado any more. Our meal is served and the plate is so hot you can't touch it. I asked the waitress why it is so hot and she tells me it's so hot because it just came out of the MICROWAVE!    [30 Jan 2008 21:36:58]
