It's about time that Vallejo got a new, distinctive restaurant! The food was excellent, especially the special, Island style BBQ ribs. They were tender, extremely flavorful and slid right off of the bone! They also have your regular faves like burgers and salads including the Beef, Mango, Avocado Salad with a homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing. This exquisite bistro has all of the ambience that a cool restaurant in San Francisco would have, complete with beautiful artwork and photographs that pay homage to Vallejo's rich history!
The service was also friendly. The owner even came out and introduced himself.

You HAVE to eat here!
Georgia Street Grill is exactly what downtown Vallejo needs in order to start rebuilding. The FOOD is excellent, the employees are friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is cozy, comfortable, and interesting. I have been COMPLETELY satisfied with all the dishes I've tried. Great Food & Great Choices!
Not only is the food good, the choice of menu items and range of types of food is well balanced and interesting. Whether you want simply a great hamburger, or a really good grilled vegetables sandwich... breakfast or lunch - it's all good.    [05 Apr 2006 17:28:07]
