Thank you Lord Oh not enough time in the world to rave about such a fine place. Peggy Sue's is the most unique, nostalgia-loving diner I have ever seen in my life.
Peggy Sue's ambiance is far superior to other diners in that it's basis is not just that of retro-looking booths and fifties music, but fully collaged walls of the stars of vintage Hollywood. Every table, booth, even the barstool seating...has it's own barrage of nostalgia. From black and white eight by tens, to posters and mannequins. The feeling here is simple: the older days were better days! Also to note, both restaurants have gift shops filled with unique stuff (who wouldn't buy an I Love Lucy table clock?).
The food is wonderful, classic all-American diner style. The waitress' outfits are a hoot, this diner is even complete with a soda fountain & ice cream parlor. The menu is as cute as a button, with selections like a Mickey Mouse Club Sandwich, and a Big Bopper BLT.
Don't waste you time at another diner, it won't be as good.
Side Note: The booths come complete with vintage trivia for the food wait. [22 Dec 2003 21:42:51]

Not just a Diner a whole experience! Relive the 50s and eat great food - this place may be in the middle of nowhere, but make a trip just to go there! [25 Apr 2004 17:11:48]
