The Best Korean Food in the Area! This restaurant (in the old Bonanza Books location) is one of our favorites and well worth the struggle to find parking in downtown Walnut Creek! For some folks the size of the portions can mean two meals for the price of one. I like the food too much to leave any for another time, however. The food is delicious, simple, but delicious and the prices are amazing. My favorite is the two combo plate with Bul-Go-Gi and Spicy Pork . . . combo plates come with rice and salad. No longer living nearby, I plan "excursions" to Walnut Creek just to have an excuse to visit Koreana BBQ.
Order at the front counter and pickup when called. Tables are bused in a timely manner. Crowded at lunchtime, but worth the wait. Not opened on Sundays.
When we were still living in Walnut Creek, we would do a "drive by". Call in an order, one of us would jump out of the truck in front of the restaurant, go in and pick up the order, while the driver went around the block . . . the parking garage on Locust is a good choice if you would prefer to dine in!
