Best in West Sacramento
So glad I live close to the Pheasant Club. I moved to West Sacramento and since have been to many restaurants in the area, I found the Pheasant Club to be the best place to eat in West Sacramento. If you don't believe me, try them for yourselves. Great food, the service could use a little work, but well worth the wait sometimes.    [19 Sep 2003 20:12:42]

It doesn't get any better
How can anyone get past the garlic steak sandwiches for lunch -- the only problem is deciding between the sides: the raviolis and the fries are both winners. A Family Favorite

Worst Italian Food Ever
Maybe my grandmother and mother's home made Italian cooking has spoiled me ... but I know good Italian cooking when I taste it, and this place isn't it. Maybe it is the best place in W. Sac, but that's not saying much. Yes, the service is good, the staff is very nice and cordial... but it doesn't make up for the poor quality food.    [15 Nov 2004 15:47:12]

One of the BEST !
I lived in West Sac for 12 years while working at the Port of Sacramento and the first place I was introduced to was Club Pheasant, an old Italian road house. I loved it then and I love it now. More like the peasant club
This place is awful, poor quality food, service is bad and the interior designing lacks creativity. The "world famous" steak sandwich is nothing more than bread drenched in butter with some garlic on top and a piece of meat. This place should be called the peasant club.    [10 Jun 2006 13:49:02]
