Description

This is a Vietnamese coffee house serving coffee, tea and shakes only. Each guest is given a complimentary glass of iced tea which is refilled frequently. Many TV screens show a variety of sports as well as the CA Lottery game "Hot Spot." Lottery tickets can be purchased and redeemed here. Vietnamese pop music is played for additional atmosphere.

Currently the Best!
These Vietnamese coffee places aren't always consistent over time, but Cafe De Thuong is, in my opinion, currently the best in the business. All of them seem to tolerate smoking, which I don't like, but Cafe De Thuong really takes care of the other details well. The place is kept reasonably clean (especially in contrast to the other coffee places in the area). The waitresses are all beautiful and take their work seriously; they dress quite nicely, too, and they look like they enjoy their work, which is important in the Vietnamese coffee house circuit. Are you kidding me?? This is a sleazy, smoke-infested coffee shop, where the girls gallivant around in nothing but short mini skirts with their b***s hanging out, hoping to land themselves a sugar daddy!! I used to work in the same building upstairs and let me tell you . . . people don't go there for the food(and it's not even 'French' food) . . . just for the t**s and a**.    [07 Mar 2008 15:07:10]
