Raw Chicken
I was served a piece of half raw chicken, and upon discovering this, I mentioned it to the server. She apologized, and offered me another. I politely declined (being a little grossed out I just ate raw chicken). She offered to discount my meal (50% off!) I was blown away. After asking for her to completely remove the item from our bill, she declined and walked away. I would never go back again.    [22 Apr 2005 00:56:23]

Good Food, Service, Menu
Most of our party (five adults) ordered beef and one ordered fish (sole). Two of us ordered the New York Steak, $17.95, 10-12 oz (choice of mushrooms or blue cheese, yum), which went well with the merlot, and cab I brought to the meal (only $9.00 corkage). One ordered the prime rib and the other ribeye. The other ordered the sole. Food was as ordered and brought to our table fast. We had the primary server, a secondary server, and a bus person. I thought the service quite attentive. We had a pleasant meal and plan to return again. I have eaten here four times, and plan to come back if in the area with a daughter living in Davis (I live in San Mateo). The dinner price includes soup or salad, and they serve warm bread. Excellent Food and Great Service

Love Tomat's
Tomat's is a local favorite. It is a mom and pop type restaurant. The service is above average. The food is excellent, along with the drinks. We love the Sunday brunch. Tucked Away Treasure
My husband was delighted with the prime rib. Nearly perfect which is hard to find. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. My favorite part was the chocolate mousse, Yum :)    [28 Oct 2007 12:14:43]
