Indian food for everyone Every item I have tried so far has been great. The owners are wonderful. Amazingly, they remembered us on our second vist months later. This is the only place I bother to go for Indian food. They have plenty of vegetarian dishes too. [19 Apr 2001 21:28:56]

excellent value for money. I have to admit, I'm biased. I love this restaurant. The staff are some of the friendliest people around, and the food is generally fantastic. In fact, the worst I could say about the place is that sometimes on extremely busy nights it's hard to get good service. I have been to Anarbagh many times and there have been only a few occasions where the food was less than excellent. Of the Indian culinary establishments in Los Angeles, Anarbagh offers exceptionally good quality, and value for money. I've enjoyed most of their extensive menu over the years. They have some nice Indian beers available as well, I find "Taj Mahal" goes down a treat alongside a fierce curry.
Just go eat there. You'll like it. [14 Feb 2003 22:10:38]

My sweetheart brought me here several months ago, and I loved it. I especially love the chicken makhani, samosas, and sag paneer. Yum. Not only is the food wonderful, but the staff is friendly (and they remember us every time we walk in and even when we call on the phone!). The location and ambience could be better, but the food quality and taste more than makes up for it. I recommend it. [14 Feb 2003 22:11:12]

BEST INDIAN IN THE VALLEY!! I've tried them all and Anarbagh comes out on top every time. The staff will remember you each time you visit and give you a discount, often free dishes if you become a regular!! Try the 'Yeti' beer, it takes the bite out of the vindiloo. [19 Sep 2003 21:27:05]

BAD SERVICE!!! The worst Indian restaurant I have been to in the Los Angeles area. Not only was the food cold, the service was even colder! [15 Feb 2004 01:29:55]

Great Restaurant I hesitate to tell all of you how great this place is. Rarely do you have to wait to sit down, and the staff really does remember you. If you go there as regularly as my boyfriend and I, they even give you a 15% off card!! Amazing food and great atmosphere. A+!!! [09 Jun 2005 12:41:42]

Delicious food and great service We drove 30 minutes from Ventura County CA because we are desperate for good Indian food. We found it! We arrived fairly early for a Saturday (6 p.m.) and were seated right away. The service was great - quick and very friendly. I thought the dinner for two combination wasn't too overpriced at $36, considering everything you get (appetizers, 2 meats, 1 vegetable, rice, naan bread, dessert for 2 and coffee/tea for 2). I've paid more at other Indian restaurants and received smaller portions. At Anarbagh, there was plenty of food leftover - enough for my husband's lunch the next day! They even gave us a 15% off coupon to use on our next visit. We will be back and back again! [06 Aug 2006 22:23:33]
