Peggy Sue's is off I-15 half way between Los Angeles and Las Vegas in the middle of almost nowhere. The dinner my family ordered was very good...actually better than any of us expected. The menu is big...everything from chicken fried steak, pork chops, hot open faced turkey sandwich to your standard fare of burgers and breakfasts. They even have veggie burgers. Our waitress, who has been working there for 10 years (she loves the music) was great and made four tired travellers feel right at home. One of my daughters ordered an odd array of side dishes and our waitress commented "Why not...this is a restaurant, you can order anything you want) Though the building looks large from the outside, the restaurant side was quite cozy. Next to the restaurant there is a store that sells "hollywood kitsch" and has a soda fountain (I don't know if is for decoration or you can actually order from it - but it looked very inviting) Peggy Sue's is a great place to stop, relax and get a good bite to eat while on the road.
