Don't Miss Breakfast Here We were driving "straight through" from Sequim, Washington to Tucson, Arizona, and after a quick nap at a rest stop stumbled across Grandma's House Restaurant. We don't know the quality of other meals at this pleasant and interesting diner, but breakfast was memorable. Huge pancakes - (we would have shared an order of three had we known) and more than the usual bacon slices. Truly a trucker's delight I should think. And tasty, too! And while you're waiting for your order, a nice little room to the side is a gift shop specializing in glass, china and art. Thanks, Grandma! [09 Jul 2006 19:41:25]

Always Go To Grandma's! I've been travelling I-5 for years and always look forward to a stop at Grandma's House. It is an oasis just off of I-5. Wonderful ambience. Very pleasant interior with always nice wait staff. The food is consistantly excellent quality and the portions are more than generous. When it's hot outside they always keep the temperature inside nice and cool. On a scale of 1-10 with your typical Denny's and most restaurants in the 6 range, this is always a 9 or 10. Great value for wonderful food. Nice little gift shop. Very clean restrooms. Great attention to detail! Just writing this makes me wish I was there, but I am 700 miles away. [08 Aug 2007 15:05:17]
