Authentic Mexican Restaurant
This place is authentic, homey and tasty. I live in Oakland and I dream about El Central Cafe. Fried tacos with meats stewed for hours with chilis and onions, tender slow-cooked Carnitas, yummy refried beans, thin with lard and enchilada sauce that's balanced and rich and so flavorful. My Mexican boyfriend's family has yet to find a more authentic mexican restaurant in Northern California in 30 years.    [05 Feb 2005 12:54:49]
