Great place for seasonal item shopping... Just after moving to Yucaipa, we were interested in tasting a bit of the local flavor. Granlunds was one of the restaurants on the list of many, and it was an enjoyable experience, but not one to write about in the local paper. Try the lemon/herb chicken on a English muffin then simply duplicate it at home in a less commercial atmosphere. [22 Jul 2004 19:56:23]

Definitely a best kept secret Definitely a best kept secret for those who know and love this style of restaurant. It's been one of our favorites for many years. The decor is beautiful - and for sale if you want something - the service is great and the atmosphere is one of a kind. [29 Sep 2004 14:58:15]

Nice place for tea with the ladies or dinner with your husband The pros: Granlunds restaurant is the perfect place to go with the ladies for tea, or with your husband for dinner. The food is wonderful, and the ambiance is even better. You can also buy some chocolates and candies made in the plant right next door. And their ice cream menu is also outstanding.
The cons: Bring your patience with you because the staff is limited! I also would not recommend spending your money on the decor... it is very expensive and overpriced. [04 Sep 2005 20:04:09]

most unusual place around...wow really neat Wow, amazing Victorian style decor. Really well prepared eclectic menu. Ice cream is hand made and a ton of flavors, hand made candy, try the coconut truffle mmmm dang that's good. They make their candy next door at their factory. They change the decor with the seasons. I love this place [28 Feb 2007 19:57:56]

Just for Special My family always goes here at Christmas time. We love to see the decorations and smell the chocolate while we sit and enjoy an overpriced meal. It's worth it for the ambiance. My problem is I can't leave without buying new Christmas ornaments. Enjoy. [02 Aug 2007 19:37:52]

Bridal Shower I had my Bridal Shower there and it easily held a party of at least 9 at our table. It's actually bigger than it looks inside. They were very accommodating and as usual their food was delicious! We've been going there for years and have never been disappointed yet. Everyone is always so friendly and we never wait long for our food. Everyone should try Granlunds at least once! You'll find yourself going back:) [17 Aug 2009 17:36:47]
