Usually a good bet
A cut above the chain coffee shops. Very complete menu. Great senior specials, old but fresh paint and clean with a recent "A" rating.
Daily special includes Prime Rib on Fri- Sat. Good fish selection. Very nice service. We have always had a wholesome meal. Visited weekly by Rotary and Kiwanis. [23 Dec 2005 17:38:56]

Great food and ambience
The Hickory Ranch is not a "fine" dining type place, but does serve up some excellent food. My huband had the pork chops and I had the cheese ravioli with meat sauce. Both dishes were accompanied with choice of soup or salad (we chose the salad with homemade ranch dressing) choice of potato, veggies and dinner bread with "real" butter. All were great. This is a real down home place that serves great food at moderate prices. We have returned several times and will continue to do so. [30 Dec 2005 20:17:15]

Recommended Dishes: Pork chops, pasta, BBQ chicken and ribs, chicken fried steak, turkey, and all the burgers and sandwiches!!! Great french fries, too
