Special occasions call for Joe's. It's supposed to be an experience, not just food. Joe's in Aurora, CO has really gone down hill the last 4 times we've visited. I can only assume that this is due to staff and/or management changes. There was a fun crew there that loved kids a couple of years' back. Lateley, it seems like they have a bunch of kids working there that are "too cool for school." They don't get into the fun dances and singing for the birthday crowd; just what made Joe's worth it. The staff just goes through the motions. They used to "take over" the restaurant 3 or 4 times during a meal to sing and dance, but the last time we went, it was only once, and it didn't last long. The food has always sucked, but at least it used to be fun. We went to the franchise in San Antonio, and they were still having fun, so I guess it's just Aurora.    [06 Nov 2007 23:54:55]
