This place stinks!
I had the sad misfortune to step into a nice appearing pub during my short 1-hour lunch. I was seated immediately and the waitress took my order as soon as I sat down, which was the special "Catfish PoBoy Sandwich". One half-hour later I was served a greasy plate of re-fried, over-fried, tasteless shrimp, in a stale role, next to a heap of underfried, greasy potato pieces (fries?). I paid for my glass of wine and walked out. When I called later to speak to the manager, she explained that there had been a miscommunication with the chef, and the special was supposed to have said "Crawfish" instead of "Catfish". Hmmm, last I checked, old shrimp were nothing like either dish. She didn't offer to make it up to me, but did apologize for the chef.    [16 Aug 2004 17:00:22]
