Look no further, you are home at Daddy Bruce's
Succulent ribs, tangy brisket, and add in Bruce Jr's hospitality - you feel like you're back in Georgia, Alabama, or home. The main dishes are delicious and the best I've had in Colorado. The sides are not remarkable but round out the meal. Served with white bread. It's not fair to rate service and ambiance on a typical scale - Bruce is really nice and the ambiance is unique: Seating is minimal - designed for take out but if you want to eat there, pull up a stool and dig in! Missing Daddy Bruce's
I have an eastern North Carolina BBQ take out joint in MT Olive NC. Before I opened it I lived in Colorado and ate with Daddy Bruce almost every day. Not only did I love his food and conversation and the way it made me feel like I was back home when I was there, I was inspired by him. I miss eating there.    [23 Feb 2005 20:21:44]
