The Old Stone Church We decided to try this restaurant for our 14th anniversary after hearing about it on the radio. First we looked up their website to see a menu, but one wasn't posted so we called to make sure they could accommodate vegetarians. They said, "Sure, we do that all the time." However, when we were seated and looked at the menu, there was nothing on it for vegetarians. There were some fish dishes but all came with crab meat or bacon glaze etc. We asked our waitress what she would recommend for vegetarians and she looked like a "deer in the headlights" and mumbled something about a risotto dish. My husband and I decided to get the fish without the special glaze. Both our entrees were well-prepared and tasty, but lacked the special flair we had hoped for. Nevertheless, the food was good, the wait staff were attentive and cordial and the restaurant was clean. [24 Dec 2004 14:53:17]

BEST in Colorado! 6 adults ate 6 different dishes there last night, 12/27/05, and the food was D E vine! The food is definitely 4 STARS.
The ambiance is a matter of taste. It is excellent to my way of thinking. My only comment/concern is the entrance where guests are greeted by the Maitre'D. Unfortunately, I think it is do to the physical layout of the building. I'll take it if that is the worst.
The Old Stone Church is on par with the best of Washington, DC, New York City, Paris, Rome, Venice, San Francisco! [28 Dec 2005 10:07:59]

The Old Stone Church is a very friendly environment. I just love to take my friends there and not one of them had a bad thing to say about it. I would suggest taking a spouse or someone you love for lunch or dinner you will not be sorry you did. [08 Nov 2007 10:59:05]

A Must Place to Stop A great place to dine. Friendly and efficient service. Excellent food. The lunches are great and the Sunday Brunch menu is wonderful. A must place to stop. [06 Mar 2004 19:50:31]

Bland, boring and over priced We tried the elk and salmon for dinner, the lobster appetizer and a wine suggested by the waitress. The place was understandably almost empty and so our service was efficient. The wine was tart and did nothing for the food. The gravy on the elk was plain and reminded me if a canned variety, the potatoes were bland and the salmon was dry and looked like it sat under the heat lamp too long. The lobster was good but not great and the meal was way too expensive for what we got. We will not return. [31 May 2006 18:42:45]
