Best Palakh/Saag Paneer in COS!
India Garden is open whenever we check - they are hardworking, clean, and almost never as crowded as they deserve to be! Their palakh/saag paneer will be prepared with the level of spice *you* specify (a problem with some of the other Indian restaurants locally), and is it soooo good - voted best in Colorado Springs last year. Their lunch buffet is plentiful and quite good, and their service is friendly and efficient. Fragrant jasmine rice comes with everything - not charged separately, and they are generous and hospitable in other ways, as well. For example - we were offered chai when I was waiting for takeout with my young son. An excellent addition to the Springs! Decor is just average for an Indian restaurant, but serviceable (i.e., tables covered with cloth, not formica).    [27 Mar 2004 19:23:52]

Delicious Food, Great Service
I have only dined there for lunch. It is a buffet for about $8; and is quite extensive. Will make a vegetarian or non-vegetarian happy. Naan bread is brought fresh to your table. The food is delicious, not too spicy hot, but very flavorful spice- wise. Ala carte Mango Lassi very good. Soup, several entrees, several veggy dishes, 3 different rices, desserts, and more. The service is wonderful; always a presence, but not overbearing, very polite and gracious. Nice linen table cloth and napkins; ambience pleasant. Many Indian clients and family friendly.
