Description

The atmosphere includes white stucco, green plants, terra cotta tile and curved walls. There is a Ponderosa-shaded patio. The dinner menu is prix fixe, and a la carte selections are offeredn in the lounge. Soup and salad lunches are offeren on weekdays. On Saturday nights, there is harpsichord music in the main dining room.

Gem of the Old Springs Hands
This place often has southwestern and French dishes - not too many choices in one evening but everything chosen by the chef to harmonize. Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere in an architecturally quirky building, and live entertainment downstairs on the weekends (call first). A little-talked-about but much-prized restaurant for special occasions, treasured by people who have lived in the Springs for long enough to have "discovered" it.    [27 Mar 2004 19:34:47]
