Generous meal at fair price The restaurant sits on the main highway and doesn't look like anything special. However, it is pleasantly decorated (yet you can still dress casually) with an efficient and friendly wait staff. I was there for dinner, and the menu offered a wide variety of choices, including steaks, prime rib, seafood (everything from Alaska king crab legs to mahi-mahi, fresh tuna steaks to Alaskan salmon), German schnitzels and comfort foods like chicken-fried steak. All meals come with the soup/salad bar. There were two soups, clam chowder and beef noodle. I had the latter, which was delicious. The large selection of veggies on the salad bar was fresh and crisp, and there were about a dozen dressing choices. It was Friday night, so I chose the all-you-can-eat fish fry ($11.95) - breaded and deep-fried cod. Sides include a choice of potato styles, rice or fresh steamed veggies. I chose the veggies, a very generous serving of a mixture of yellow & zucchini squash, red bell pepper, green beans, carrots and broccoli, al dente. On the first serving, I had 6 large pieces of cod and definitely didn't need to ask for seconds. The restaurant is split level with three tiers of dining area and a bar half a floor below.
Nightly happy hour. [19 Nov 2005 12:12:51]

Mothers Day We had Mothers Day Buffet and the food was okay. The service was not up to par. Not worth the price. [14 May 2006 17:34:05]
